Dogs for HCRC

Cancer doesn't stop during a pandemic. Now, more than ever, cancer patients need our support!

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, I am on the Hearst Cancer Resource Center (HCRC) Advisory Committee. Our main Fundraiser was to be in the Spring, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were unable to hold the event. The needs of patients with cancer do not stop during a pandemic, so the Advisory Board decided to have a Share Hope virtual fundraiser during the month of October. My dog, Rafa, and I formed a team “Dogs for the HCRC” and we are hoping that you will support us in our efforts to help those cancer patients and their families.

Like a dog, the HCRC is always there for you and your family and provides unconditional love to all in our community.

The HCRC is a unique center that provides vital support, resources, services and education to patients with cancer and their families at no cost to them. We are fortunate to have this Center in our community. The HCRC is funded entirely by donations. Every dollar we raise will support the HCRC and all gifts are 100% tax deductible.

Please consider donating to the Share Hope virtual fundraiser to support the HCRC. Please make your gift before October 31st. If you would like to get more involved with the HCRC, please ask me how! Also, if you have a furry dog friend at home with you, email a photo of your dog to, A collage of photos will be assembled to share with the Center.

Together, we can make a difference and Share Hope!
